Smartblinds window coverings are always equipped with a wireless Motionblinds motor. Smartblinds gives you the choice between 2 different motors:

Motionblinds Bluetooth motor and,
Eve Motionblinds Matter motor.

With both Motionblinds motors, you can control your window covering electrically with smart technology at the same time.

Of course, it is also still possible to operate your Bluetooth & Eve Smartblinds manually with a handy pull-cord where you can automatically move your Smartblind to your set positions with one short pull.

Motionblinds Bluetooth motor:

With the Bluetooth Motionblinds motor, you always have control over your window coverings within Bluetooth range via the Motionblinds Bluetooth app. If you add a Motionblinds Wi-Fi bridge, you can connect it to your home automation system.

Eve Motionblinds Matter motor:

The Eve Motionblinds motor with Matter gives you a smart home experience. This Eve Motionblinds motor has the new Matter protocol, which allows you to make a direct connection between your Motionblinds motor and all major smart home platforms. Providing you have an existing border router or smart device such as a smart TV, smart lighting etc, there’s no need for a bridge (Hub), registration or any cloud dependency so set-up is simple and secure.

Just scan the set-up code and your Smart blinds or curtains will be part of your Smart ecosystem – letting your devices like lights, thermostats and security cameras talk to each other.

All you need for that is a smart hub from the list below.

* Requires the Matter and OpenThread add-on in Home Assistant and the Home Assistant Companion App for iPhone or Android. The installation is also supported with other compatible Thread Border Routers or Home Assistant OS installations.
