Resort Refurbishment and Construction

As buildings are increasingly designed with sustainability and energy conservation strategies in mind, Window Treatments has developed new technologies to accommodate.
One example is seen with the advent of our aerofoil blades. These were created when a client in the UK commissioned an adjustable exterior light control system.
Window Treatments designed and manufactured an original and uniquely designed cedar aerofoil shaped shutter blade 280mm wide by 60mm. These blades were installed on the exterior facade of the building in Britain resulting in an aesthetically pleasing, fully functional system designed to control light and heat conditions. This system has proven to be instrumental in reducing the internal air conditioning operating costs of the building.
Cedar aerofoil and flat blades are now popular in the commercial sector for both sustainable strategies and sun screening solutions. As in all our cedar products Window Treatments uses the highest grades of wood, machine the timber to size specifications, dress and manufacture ready for installation.
